Anxiety Center of Tampa empowers clients to move from a life of fear and avoidance to a life lived in accordance with their values and goals.

Our clinicians specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and other anxiety related disorders. We offer individual and group sessions and can customize a schedule for step-downs from higher levels-of-care.

What We Treat


Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders can include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobias, health anxiety, school anxiety, and separation anxiety. 


Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders

OCD causes people to have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations (obsessions) that make them feel driven to do something repetitively (compulsions). Other OCD-related disorders can include trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder), excoriation (skin-picking disorder), and body dysmorphic disorder.

Lori Aitken, LMHC


Lori is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Lori has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and has specialized in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Lori is a graduate of the International OCD Foundation's (IOCDF) Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). 

Mary Brizuela, LMHC


Mary is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Mary has over 6 years of experience in the mental health field and now specializes in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and other anxiety-related disorders.
